At Dentistry on West, we feel it is important to support our local community and charitable organisations. In 2009/2010 we raised funds for the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Society, and the Haiti Relief Fund. We were a collection centre for the Salvation Army Toy Drive. Our annual car wash raised money for the Special Olympics. We even had a number of athletes come participate in the event, which made for a very enjoyable time for everyone.

Dentistry on West is a proud sponsor of the Orillia Youth Basketball Association, the Orillia Curling Club, and the Orillia Minor Hockey Association (Mighty Molars).

2010 has been an eventful year for Dentistry on West. Dr. Coleman treated the staff to a wonderful getaway to Mexico in January. His first grandchild, Jackson Thomas Trace Coleman was born in February. We visited the Ontario Dental Association annual Spring Meeting in May for continuing education and to check out the latest advances. And the aforementioned car wash was in June.

We would like to welcome dental assistants Karen, Chris, and Chelsea who are filling in while Anne recovers from a serious car accident.
